Lune brown trout are a joy to catch on dry fly and they frequently fight like tigers. The specimen in the video below weighed 1lb 10 oz and was beautifully marked with lovely golden flanks.

This nice fish  rose consistently to Blue winged olives behind a rock.

I finally took it on a dry 'Retro dun' after missing it twice on other patterns.  It was swiftly returned to the river to grow on a bit more.

This is the type of wild Lancashire spate stream habitat where you will find them.
